Some serious side effects caused by this medicine include memory loss, respiratory depression, infertility, issues in the menstrual cycle, and hypogonadism, infertility in men, and erectile dysfunction. This medication can also cause hyperprolactinemia, it is a condition in which a higher than normal amount of breast milk is produced. Another major drawback of using Etizolam is that it is very addictive and it can be hard for people with a history of substance abuse to stop using this medication. These are rare but if you see skin lesions, rashes, hives, swelling of face, mouth, lips, eyes, or throat then you are having an allergic reaction and you need to get medical assistance immediately.
